TOM WHITMORE has been Interested in UFOs since the 1960s; he researches the history of the MJ-12 controversy full-time. He has been active in the UFO field since 1990 and served on the MUFON board of directors for many years. He is a retired financial executive and resides in San Antonio, Texas.

In 2019 Tom retired from full time employment as a financial analyst and moved to Silver Spring, Maryland in September 2019 in order to be close to the National Archives, the Library of Congress and other resources in the Washington, DC area.

Tom has a special interest, and is considered one of a handful of experts on the history of the MJ-12 affair and the MJ-12 legend. Tom centered his focus on the 35 year history of questioned documents and the claims that have come into the public domain, as well as stories of UFO crash retrievals and government/agency involvement in the UFO community. . DESCRIPTION
The Majestic Twelve documents ("MJ-12") arose in the UFO community in the 1980s and have influenced the UFO world ever since. MJ-12 is a controversial topic that includes suspicious documents, recovered UFOs, and alien beings. Tom Whitmore will briefly review the history of the MJ-12 affair and provide several insights from his years of research.
